About Eric
I design learning experiences and practical tools that help people understand complex information and apply it in real situations.
Professionally, I work in learning design and training development. As an Education Specialist with MISS DIG 811, I create training and outreach that support excavators, utility companies, locators, and the public across Michigan. My work focuses on safety, compliance, and real-world decision-making that protects people and underground infrastructure.
I also design sales training for Revlogic, helping teams communicate value clearly using frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
Before moving into learning and development full time, I worked in education and was honored with the Outstanding Educator Award through Northwest Education Services. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Theatre Education and a Master’s degree in Spanish Language Instruction.
Theatre
Outside of my professional work, I’m deeply involved in community theatre.
At Old Town Playhouse, I serve as a Tech Chair for Stage Management and a member of the Artistic Committee.
I’ve worked on productions both onstage and behind the scenes, including stage managing the Michigan Community
Theatre premiere of Waitress.
My experience as both a performer and production team member shapes how I approach collaboration,
communication, and organization within theatre.
Many of the resources on this site, including the Stage Manager Toolkit, grew out of that work.
Why This Site Exists
This site is a place to share practical tools, guides, and ideas that come out of my work in learning design and theatre production.
I’m interested in systems that make complex work clearer and more collaborative—whether that’s training programs, production workflows, or learning resources people can immediately put into practice.
